Privacy Policy
October 4 Edit is operated by October Fourth to Success, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a Massachusetts limited liability company.
Your photo is used to create the virtual try-on you request. October 4 Edit does not require a public profile and does not sell uploaded photos.
Information we process
We process the full-body photo you choose to upload, your selected garment and usual size, and limited technical information needed to operate and secure the site. We also record anonymous shopping events—such as page visits, product selections, completed style visualizations and retailer-link clicks—together with a randomly generated per-tab session identifier. These analytics do not include your photo, name or email address. If you contact us, we also receive the information you provide in that message.
How the AI fitting room works
Your chosen photo first remains in your browser. When you click “See the style on me,” the photo and selected garment image are transmitted to our AI service provider, FASHN, so it can generate the requested visualization. October 4 Edit does not currently maintain a customer photo library or create a public profile from your photo. FASHN processes information under its own service terms, security practices and retention settings.
How we use information
- Provide and improve the requested virtual try-on.
- Operate, protect and troubleshoot the website.
- Respond to questions and requests.
- Measure visits and qualifying retailer referrals when those features are enabled.
Retailer and affiliate services
Qualifying retailer links may use affiliate-network technology, including cookies or similar identifiers, to attribute a visit or purchase to October 4 Edit. Retailers and affiliate networks process that information under their own privacy notices. You can manage cookies through your browser and applicable privacy controls.
Sharing and security
We share information only with providers needed to deliver the service, comply with law, protect rights and security, or complete a business transaction with appropriate safeguards. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may remove a selected photo before generating a result, close the fitting room, decline AI consent, manage cookies in your browser, or contact us to ask about access or deletion of information held by October 4 Edit. Do not upload a photo unless you have the right and consent to use it.
Children
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. Please do not upload a minor’s image.
